What a wonderous land! I'm not sure anyone will care about the opinion of an American in this, but I'll certainly add my voice...

I'm an American and I care! I have supported worldwide conservation efforts for many, many years, prolly before some of you were born. I participated in the first Earth Day. Stewardship of the earth is all our responsibility. :-)

I have just moved to Egilsstadir wich is just about an 2hours drive from Kárahnjúkar... and yeah, they are doing this...
I will hopefully be able to go up there and take some shots in late august...
this is sad...
