No issues with 111, but I have an interesting thing that happens to me at cash registers. When I am checking out, my total usually comes out even, such as 12.00, 23.00, etc. This includes the fact that I am paying tax. I also work cash registers, and when I am checking other people out, I often get amounts with only 0's, and this includes tax as well as coupons being applied. So what are the spirits trying to tell me? Maybe I am a 0? Anyway, my husband had a shirt he got for a gift which said 0 1/2, and I've been seeing 0's ever since.

Jutilda,

My mother (who lives in Louisiana) and my sister (who lives in Memphis, Tennessee) have been saying the same thing about 11:11. They see the number all the time. When they look at the clock it is 11:11. I don't understand it and haven't thought much about it until I read this post today. Very interesting.

Ever since posting this, I haven't had the phenom happen, but it's only been a couple of days. I don't know if there is anything to it, but this surely has been a fun discussion nonetheless!!

I was worried it was going to turn into an argument storm but it hasn't. Let's all give ourselves a hand for keeping this fun and interesting.

side note.. my number is 808 or 818..I notice these all the time..

my last receipt at the store was 15.15..it never ends

Funny, my oldest daughter was just saying last night how this June 6, 2006 will be the 6 month, 6 day, 6 year - 666 ... Freaked out all her sisters!

On that note, 06/06/06 is the date of my high school graduation. What a great way to start out my "real world" experience!

A little off topic, but did you hear the study that found that 666 may have been misinterpreted? Some people are saying 616 is the true sign of the beast.

The bible says in Rev. 13:18 : "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." KJV

We know six hundred = 600
Threescore = Being three times twenty; sixty
and 3 = 3
Equaling 666
Not 6-6-6, not 6-66, not 66-6, not 6:66, etc. but actually 666.

The question is what does 666 stand for? Is it going to be a symbol (i.e. In the Hebrew alphabet their letters equal numbers and numbers equal letters). Not like the English language where letters and numbers are two different entities.

This is a question that has been haunting us since Revelations was written. There are as many theories on its meaning as there are books in the Bible. I read another Greek theory last year. If I can scare it up I'll put it in the thread. It was a mathmatical equation of some sort based on Greek numbers, which gave it another twist. I also have a Bible that has the Greek translations in it which most Bibles don't even bother with, but it gives many of the verses a different twist.
As to my opinion of 666, if you have to ask what it means then I guess you aren't one of the ones that can see. It is frustrating, but my hope is that when we are finally faced with the actual event, those who are in good standing with the Book of Life will understand exactly what it means. I only hope I am one of them. Otherwise the result will be horrible.

It's not like I'm even aware it's close to those times. Oh, and a cartoon channel (Boomerang ) showing all of the old Hanna Barbara cartoons has come back to our cable network and my 10 year old and I love to watch it. And guess what the channel number is??

111!

AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anybody else have stuff like this??

Lol. You're not the only one, Jutilda. ;) Almost every evening when I look at the clock it's 22:22.

Here's an explanation of why they thought it may be wrong (666)

Actually I do, although there's nothing supernatural about it - I hope.

I use Photoshop a hell of a lot ('scuse the pun) and often go to select a brush size by clicking randomly at the right end of the scale (large). Invariably - and more frequently than I imagine would be just by chance - I get a brush size of 666 pixels.

Hmm. And I've got this funny mark in my hairline that I found the other day...

WOW, I am so glad I found your post and these forums!
Strange but true...

I use Photoshop a lot i earn my living from making game textures and Ive noticed when I am randomly trying to find the correct brush size ( usually when I am decreasing the size ) it seems to rest on size 666 5 times out of 10 or more ( I havent actually counted it.. Im not that sad! ) but today for some reason it really started to play on my mind..."was it a sign etc.. omg.. why does it keep doing that!" .. .. you know those kind of insane thoughts.. and it bothered me THAT MUCH I actually googled it using key words " photoshop brush size 666 "
I was so desperate to find someone else who has the same issue so I can put my stupid over active imagination to rest, and i found this forum and thread and post!
Then, I realise it was a photography based forum and thats just too much of a coincidence.. I have been taking photos for my game art and new photo stock site just bought a new camera the other day too and thought how odd... so now Im here.. and sane ( just ) I will fill in my profile and stuff :)

I am thinking maybe Adobe have set the brush sizes to a variable of defaults to rest on.. it happens too much for it to be a coincidence..

anyone else had this? Mind you like others said, we probably hit other sizes a lot too but because they dont have any relevance it doesnt register.
I sometimes see faces in patterns of wallpapers, stone walls and so on.. and thats freaked me out once too..

My be the artist / creative part of me..

EDIT - removed the URL link to my website lol... dont want to be spamming people.. sorry, must read forum rules before posting!

Switch bases... Go to hexadecimal or binary or trianary and all this stuff just disappears... In effect, nothing more than an artifact of our numbering system... :)

Back in 2003 it was a period where I kept seeing the time 9:11. Hmm... And the time I started reading this thread? Yeah, 9:11...
