OK, so I grant you that this is not a structured critique in any way, but "Wow!!".

Oh, go on then. Since you asked, here's today's. Just a quick photograph taken at breakfast time.

A little NI or NN won't help?
05/03/2006 05:06:35 PM · #1138
It does for the sky, but then I lose all the little details in the buildings. I'm not the best at working with NI and don't have Noise Ninja (nor do I know how to use it). I can probably get by, just alot more work, that's all.

Thanks for trying to cheer me up though Mark! ;-)

Poor attempt not knowing much about PP tech, but at least I tried:)

Does the smile help any?

I'm LOVING everyone's today! So much creativity.

I have my day 30 up. That's right, last shot in the project. Don't you all wish you'd started four days early like I did? :)

My camera needs an idiot alarm, I always forget to check the ISO. You'd think I'd learn but nooooooooo not me.

That's a real bummer :(

I did the same thing recently...for my nephew's baptism in historic Alexandria VA - at Christ Church, where George Washington had a pew and everything. Beautiful historic area and yeah, the lighting was great, about 25 of my inlaws were there, and I buckled under the pressure. My ISO was at 1600. Yes, 1600.

That's not really the recommended ISO for sunny outdoor portraits - especially for 4 generations of family members who drove up to 6 hours to get there. I would like to blame a guy who took one with me in it...but I really don't think he did it.

Every one wanted copies.

"Copies of what? I don't know what you are talking about. Gotta go. Bye!"

Lesson learned. I'm so paranoid now, I check my flippin' ISO before I go to sleep.

OUCH!!! I feel your pain, but somehow my little faux paux seems a wee bit less significant now. :)
