This is the first challenge I've participated in, I'm pretty new to photography though I've been lurking around here for quite some time. I'm excited to get some feedback and start improving my skills.
How do results work? Do you get to see any comments or scores while voting goes on or do you get all the results at the end?

| Under the My Home menu above, go to My Preferences, and check the box that says My Score. Click the save button at the bottom. You'll go back to your home page, and your score should show up on the left, as well as a thumb of your entry and the number of comments. Click on the thumb, and you can read your comments. The comments show up below the picture - if there's nothing there, then nobody's left any comments yet. |

You can go to the "my preferences" selection under "my (your) home". Click in the box that says "My Scores Show scores and comments for my submissions during voting week." Then you can see the current score and how many comments have been made. You can click on the photo title or the comments number to go to your entry's page and read the comments. Its gonna make you crazy, though, I promise! 8-)

Hi, Welcome, I have not participated in many challenges either but can tell you that this is a great place to learn things. The score will show up on your home page if you have turned it on in your preferences.
Usually the number of comments are very few as compared to the votes...

Oh, yeah, one more thing - unless/until you're a paying member, the scores only update once an hour. So set your timer...

Thanks everyone.
I've followed the site for a year since a friend of mine got me hooked on it. I became a paying member as soon as I had access to a camera. Seemed worth helping out the folks that do a nice job with this site. :)
I look forward to learning lots. I know my first submission is 100 times better than it would have been just from lurking here for a year.
Oh and btw the score thing is already getting addicting. How am I supposed to work this week!

On demand scores is what is keeping me off from being a paying member... :D
