| Is there any way to find out where a sudden torrent of hits might be coming from as far as a gallery site is concerned? One of my galleries in at my smugmug site has gotten nearly 20K hits in the past few days...and the only place I have linked to it was here, and that was two weeks ago. The bride and the groom don't even have the link yet. I just wondered if there was a way to track back from there to find out who on earth is looking at that gallery...and why. Insert crazy, googly-eyed smiley here. ;) |

| Your signature says that you're prints are half price until your account expires. Does this mean you are leaving DPC? |

Check out this thread in the Dgrin forums for smugmug.
I have not set it up yet but from what I read its a little work to put it in. The thread is called "whos hitting my website"
everyone in there is speaking about using statcounter
not sure if that helps, but its worth a try also if not post a question on it I'm sure someone there in the forums can help you out..... they helped me out alot with problems I had and setting up my site

Also I just thought about something else if you dont have the "Ext Links" option clicked to no and the "Easy Sharing" clicked to no someone could be linking your images to another site. Which may count to more hits on your picture or pictures

Thanks for the links...I have not ever looked at those forums so that will help a lot.

Yes and no...I'm giving up paid membership. I'll be around some but not nearly as much as I have been the last couple of years. |
