Thought this was an interesting way to determine what are people's favorite photographs of your own, that are not necessarily the most viewed.

So basically take the amount of views of the image and divide it by amount of favorites...

Minimum 5 favorites to count.

My best Non-Challenge Ratio: 42.57 views/fav

My best Challenge Ratio: 62.66 views/fav

Of course, share yours!

My math skills don;t allow for division that difficult.

jaxs,

I see where you are going there, I wanted to just make it easy and simpy include views after voting. Hope that is alright, but I like you research skills and your diligence. Good to see, my friend...

Sorry, but wouldn't the other way around be more meaningful - favs per view?

so if you had 10 favs on 100 views, that's .10 or 10% of your views resulted in a favorite

but 20 favs on 2000 views would be .01 or 1% of views resulted in a favorite.

I was surprised.

Challenge:

465 views / 8 favorites for a ratio of one fav for 58 views.

Non-challenge:

Only 135 views and 4 favorites for a ratio of one fav for every 34 views.

Wait, are we looking for ones that are a low view to fav ratio or a high one? Which is better? Isn't a low ratio best, meaning that more people who view it choose it as a fav?

48.26 challenge image

26.95 non-challenge

Not like I have that many images selected more than 5x as favorites:)

Challenge 41.5 views/fav

Non-challenge 44.6 views/fav

non-challenge:

274 views, 8 favorites, 34.25 ratio

Challenge images all have TONS of views, at least the ones with 5 or more faves, so not worth calculating...

This was the second challenge that I entered. It could use some sharpening, but back then I didn't sharpen my photos. I didn't start sharpening until my 4th challenge :)

It has 711 views / 16 faves = 44 views per fave

nshapiro,

It presumably would be cooler if you had a low view to fav ratio because that would indicate that per view, people favorited it quite often. For instance if you had 10,000 views on a photo and 100 favorites, well then it kinda makes more sense because so many more people have come across it as opposed to a photo with 500 views and 20 favorites. The quantity of favorites per view is much better thus indicating possibly a jewel of a photograph undiscovered. make sense?
