A question for those of us with less than cooperative internet connections:

If I don't vote on 20% of the photos in a challenge, my votes get erased.

But what about the comments I made on those photos? Do they disappear also?

I don't think so because you can comment on an image anytime, either during voting or after.

In the challenges I don't enter I just comment and vote on a few. The votes just don't get counted toward the photographer's average but the comments do stick around.

I received a comment from someone who voted me a 10, but when the challenge ended I had no 10s! So he obviously didn't meet the 20% cut - but his comment was still registered.
