Well, if you can't say something nice then...just kidding!
How do like PPing tons of pics? Fun, huh? LOL
I have higher hopes for my next wedding - my first 2 were me very much in the BG. the one i did in feb was me all the way, and it turned out OK, but I'm learning that the mroe the couple wants (values) good photography the better the photos are (higher end folks all have shoes that match for example, pick prettier venues, have nicer dishes, food and the like)
I have read some on 'photojournalism' as it relates to weddings, and seen lots of images of course. What finally made it click in my head was seeing it happen as it happened, on a DVD - NOW i understand wedding PJ. Not so sure i can do a good job of it, but since reading a book on it for hte past week and watching an hour + on DVD, I have a whole 'nuther perspective and when i see you images it hits me - i HAVE learned to see the difference. perhaps, with luck, i can create it too as my next wedding is a paid one...pressure babay.
SO with that as a preamble, some are nice, but many have the bride (or others) looking directly at the camera. I think this is fine for formal shots, or hte one person in a crowd shots, but it stands out in your pics an dbothers me. I'm sure the b&g will love the images, do don't take my POV in any bad way. It's just me, and the way i see things today. tomorrow is another day.
