quoted from the Challenge Rules page:
"You may not post-process your entry from or to include elements of multiple images, multiple exposures, clip art, computer-rendered images, or elements from other photographs"

Has this been updated recently or has this line been there all the time? I'm curious because I would like to experiment with new creative ideas and techniques, and say if I take a photo of myself holding an LCD monitor displaying a photo of an x-ray, is that legal? I mean, the x-ray pic from the monitor is "computer-rendered image" no?

How about this, I take a photo of my hand on top of a printout of a landscape, is that allowed? Does that break the "elements from other photographs" section?

Please can someone clarify it would be great, thanks!

Yo Shin! Some recent ribbons that used your technique.

Note the key phrase. What you do before you take the shot isn't post-processing, although you do have to make some obvious contribution to avoid running afoul of the Literal Artwork rule.

And that is coming from a ribbon winner with this ;-) A very good one I might add.
