Just a general reminder to all:

Please avoid discussing or identifying specific challenge entries in the forums while voting is in progress. This includes speculating on which entries are whose, and telling a voter that they commented on your entry.

Thanks,
~Terry

So if you have invis line bi focals your screwd.

If you used crunchy and not creamy your screwed.

If you used an off brand and not a Trademarked Jello brand your screwed.

If you used fake feathers instead of getting feathers from your barn (cause you all are hillbillies) your screwed.

If your shoes weren't over 2 inche heel then its not a true High Heel shoe your screwed.

If your bicycle has trainging wheels your screwed.

We need a troll challenge someday....can just cruise through the members list.

And even on a Sunday :-) I was doomed from the beginning.

I should have just put some Jack Daniels into some Jello molds and got hammered and took pictures. Hell either way it wouldn't matter.

Now there's a thought that had never crossed my mind before....Jack Daniels Jigglers! :-)

Oh I had the thought...the bad thing was I smeared peanut butter all over me and whipped myself with a feather......but that was last week.

But good to know that I didn't use just a feather but the whole bird.....see thats the difference between kinky and sexy.

That's funny, when I got my prescription filled for new glasses I was given a choice. My presecription now called for bifocales (ok, so I'm getting older - play nice), which is primarily a method of creating a lens where you have two areas for near and distance viewing. The choice I was given was did I want traditional bifocales ("with a line") or newer progressive ("nobody will know") lens. Aside from the obvious cosmetic difference there were some subtle technical considerations as well.

I'll agree that when the word bifocales comes up the first thought (for me) is of the "with a line" version.

It's all just food for thought. ;^)

Yeah like they are going to buy that lol.

I have Bifocal contacts :)

I can see why some of the older members do not participate anymore. Nothing is ever fun here anymore.

Hmmm...not sure which way you went with that. Mostly I was making an observation. There was a fair amount of words being tossed up in here about bifocales having to be "with a line" to be legit bifocales.

Point I was making is bifocales can be either way, however, the first thought that comes to mind (word association I guess) is "with a line" when someone mentions bifocales. Kind of like complete the statement "Milk and ?". Many people would say "cookies" - automatic response as that's the image that comes to mind.

Blah. You're right. It is hard to have fun sometimes. Not sure why I picked up the defensive torch for the glasses issue. Not a big deal - carry on. ;^)

LOL...there is actually a generation of individuals who believe anyone over the age of 35 who wears glasses wears 'bifocals'. Therefore they think ALL glasses are bifocals if a certain age wears them. Then there are older men and ladies who wear those round reading glasses with thin metal and rounded frames. Others also call them bifocals when they are really just plain reading glasses. It has become more of a phrase rather than a "type" of glasses.

However, the true fact is what glad2beadad says. I totally agree after visiting my own optomitrist last week.

With that said, any interpretation can really be made; however, it is also up to the entrant, in my opinion, to be "exact" in knowing what they are entering in regards to the bifocal word being used. I would imagine if the description was to include any type of glasses, then the word bifocal wouldn't have been specifically stated.

Just'a keepin' it real :)

Sigh. At least it's up from the 4.8 I saw when I woke up. I need to remember that voters don't always stop and look very closely.

Yeah, I'm going to be the one to stir the pot again......

The description says "Pick exactlly two....."
yet I see pictures that include many items besides those items on the list.

The way I read it, the image should include ONLY the two chosen items.

Oh I am totally with you. I can really care less about my score or if people want to me my proctologist....oops I meant optomotrist.

Between this statement and all the ludicrous bifocal discussion, there is very little fun to be had in challenges like this one anymore. If this is how anal people are going to be, it's answered fully the nagging question of whether or not I should renew in a few weeks (not that anyone gives a rat's ass). This place has slowly lost it's collective mind over the past two years.
