OK..this is for all the masters of photography that I witness every day and night. I am just learning editing,as well as my camera, 2 months now.
Took this out of my window this morning. Could you "experienced' ones take a look and give me any suggestions on how it looks and or how to improve it? It would be greatly appreciated. Ya'll have taught me so much already!! I used:
crop, saturation, little levels, little dodge and burn, resized and NeatImage.
Thanks in advance cindy

Had a look at your profile - Your stuff looks very nice. I love this picture - Maybe try and clone out the sections of the window.

Looks pretty good, I see what you were going for. Did you notice how the blue sky right next to the beams got lighter...that's usually from using shadow/highlights (although you say you didn't use it, so not sure how it got like that)...selective coloring maybe?
Either way though, it's a cool shot, it's just not going to jump out at anybody if you know what I mean. There is no main point of interest, and it's compositionally 'average'...but like I said, it's a cool shot though.

I see exactly what you mean and your comments make very much sense. No selective coloring so I'm not sure why it looks as such. Thanks so much for the input...slowly but surely I am getting the knowledge I need.
