Okay, I̢۪m glad to say I can set the record straight on this whole mystery.
I arrived at work this morning to find my work mates having a good laugh at my, (and my wife’s) expense. Turns out my supervisor who knows I’m an avid DPC member has created an account and has made these comments as a ‘get-back’ at me for a practical joke I made at him last week. The comments were just made in jest but unfortunately one of the comments worried my wife, (and I must admit it worried me for a while too).
I can honestly say that manic35 had no part in this and was a passenger going along for the ride.
This explains the common IP addresses; both Cushla (my supervisor) and GIS_Boy (me) work in the same office building along with almost 1000 other workers, (who would also have the same IP address). From time to time I login to my wife̢۪s DPC account to see how she is going from work, no big mystery really. She does the same on my account from her work and we both log-on to the same IP address at home.
The unfortunate thing about this whole is that my supervisor is a good photographer and has an entry for the ‘Footwear’ challenge ready. As a result of this storm-in-a-tea-cup, SC has suspended his account.
SC, can we please get the ‘Cushla’ account reactivated as it belongs to a Legitimate person.

So, set me straight, your wife registered her account from your workplace? |

Matt - love the story! Tell your supervisor he'll be quite welcome (and probably razz'd a bit) and best of luck to him!
And a very nice pic in the Painting With Light challenge - got some extra publicity out of it, too.
Cheers! |

Great to hear all above board but I must admit I prefer some of the suggestions from the locked thread!!!!
Are you sure he's not a butler?
:))))))

A great end to the mystery. Not as cool as the genius dog or weirdo in the attic but it fits. |

Boy, I'm glad to know how this turned out... I was waiting impatiently for the climax to this thriller today! Thanks for the update! And glad that there's no harm no foul. :-) |

All very tidy, but there's still one unanswered question: How long has your supervisor been living in your attic?
Seriously, though, glad to hear that it was all an honest misunderstanding. |

But what if Cushla really is a nefarious stalker? He could be holding GIS_boy hostage and forcing him to get the account reactivated so he can put in a footwear photo. |

I vote we reactivate his account and give him a membership.

hmmm - I'm a skeptic....this may just be a ploy to get us to accept the third membership...maybe that's a shared membership. Just seems odd as to why anyone would have to log inot their spouse account. Why not just ask the spouse how they're doing?

Now, *that's* funny. Embarrass themselves and have the whole site scrutinizing this third account, instead of just doing it on the sly where nobody would notice. There's a plan! |
