Hi guys,
In an effort to improve my Macro photography and to move into the likes of jewelry photography. I am looking into a Dekstop studio system, would anybody here have purchased the below item or something like it and have any views on said item?

Desktop Studio

Thanks
Darren

Hi Darren! Yeah I have a light tent similar to what you show but mine is a full enclosure with all sides closed up except for 1 side that has the opening.

It works well but just make sure that your WB is set correctly. I've taken quite a few images with the light tent and it's pretty "snazzy" ;)

Here are some examples:

Photographing jewelry is tough. I've tried a few times but it's always tough to make it look really good. Lighting is key. I don't have much in terms of lighting so I just use some clamp lights, desktop lamps, and halogen work lamps.

I hope you have more success than I've had in this venture. Good luck!

Cheers.

Rikki
