Wow - what an interesting thread. Some shots where the original is hohum (no offence meant) and the final version just wonderful. Others where both the original and the duotone are great. Very few actually where I'd prefer the color one over the duotone one.
Here's my original (rotated, resized, USM) and my submission. I wonder if I could've just submitted the original and had people accept it as a duotone ;)
