I was invited for an argentinian tango performance by our friends last Friday, and got away with a few nice shots (nice for me, of course :), but Lora and Bill seem to like them, too)

Tango... what a fantastic dance - so much passion and beauty! And it is contageous, at least I think I got bit by the bug :)

Oh, by the way, here is my earlier tango shot which I took on the streets of Buenos-Aires in 2002

I like the second one very much. I think the other 2 would look better as B&Ws too.
And yeah, the shot from 2002 is excellent. Love it.

I have shot Argentinian Tango twice on the street and enjoyed doing it each time. I ended up doing my own dance with the camera trying to follow them.

The last time it was a couple who runs a Tango class here. They were brilliant. Would be nice to move like them!

Thought I'd share these

Adam, thanks very much for your comments! I quickly rendered the other two shots in B&W, and I agree with you - they look so much better!

I guess there is something about tango which calls for b&w.

Oh, by the way, I went through your tango series - it is wonderful!
