Normally I like 6 votes. Now they are hurting me. Please vote 7+.
I'd love to see it finish above a 6.5. Then I could scratch one of my 2006 goals.

I always forget to add to favorites when voting. Almost all of my favorites I think are non-challenge entries or older ones I come across that I never voted on. Well that has changed. I just added the 3 best photos in this challenge to my favorites (IMO of course). Maybe one of them was yours? If not please disregard this post. :) |

I guess I am too old for this crowd. LOL... Quite a few aren't understanding my photo, and I guess out of country people may not either which I didn't take into account.
In any case, please, come to my photo after the challenge is over, wherever it ends up..LOL.. and I will give an explanation as to the hows and whys of it.
On another note, I do have to say that there are quite a few others in this challenge that I don't get. I think a lot of entries are going back to the "Odd" and "Even" challenges and just posting something they felt was odd rather than an "Odd Couple". In any case, I do welcome those who don't understand my own entry to seek my photo after challenge for an explanation.

I'm thinking there are going to be many interpretations for this challenge based on the loosely worded challenge description:
"Create a photograph befitting of this topic."
It's almost like you can fill in the blank. Odd couple of ______.

I am very disappointed. I really like my entry. It is so rare to see something in your head and to have it come out that way. People keep commenting that it is "out of focus" Do people not realize that sometimes havine a soft subject is good or done on purpose. If they really take some time to look at the picture they will realize that only the highlights in the photo are diffused and the darker parts are in focus. I did this for a specific reason. I guess it I will just have to deal. This will be one of my lowest scoring challenges if I continue on this path. At lease I love what I did even if others dont!
