Yes, that is normal. DPC counts the number of "views" rather than the number of people who have viewed an image. I've viewed most of them twice but I only get to vote once.

I have finally finished voting on every entry in this challenge..... I commented on at least 45%, but I was a little disappointed with some of the image not being up to standard re quality.....
I also took time to really see if they suited the challenge.
Not looking at the word "comfort", as snuggly, soft, or fluffy, but opening my mind to what the discription says, re this challenge, which was, "Shoot something that comforts you".
This really put a differant perspective on the images..... One has to actually think like the person who took the image if possible, to see what he/she sees as comfort.....
Therefore it is then a much wider and bigger field, and so much more scope re the variations presented.....
I am overall quite happy with the various ideas presented, so good luck to you all..... |

Holding up well for me.
Possible ribbon territory, but more likely top 10.
Only trouble is I'll be on vacation when this rolls over.
Maybe they have an internet connection on the cruise ship so I can check.

I am very disappointed. I really like my entry. It is so rare to see something in your head and to have it come out that way. People keep commenting that it is "out of focus" Do people not realize that sometimes havine a soft subject is good or done on purpose. If they really take some time to look at the picture they will realize that only the highlights in the photo are diffused and the darker parts are in focus. I did this for a specific reason. I guess it I will just have to deal. This will be one of my lowest scoring challenges if I continue on this path. At lease I love what I did even if others dont!
