Hey,
I'm selling my Eye-One Display on ebay here. Just got it a couple weeks ago, but Colormall.com doesn't do refunds. It works fine, just after thinking about it, for me it didn't seem right not to have the ability to profile the printer. So if interested go and bid. Thanks. |

| so you can't profile your printer and monitor? how do you get the monitor image to look like print image? |

you need a printer profile as well as a profile for your monitor.

so where do i get the profile...like for a canon s900?

The printer profile is really a printer/ ink/ paper profile, so in some ways it depends on which inks you are using and what paper you are using too, but

Some paper manufactuers will provide generic profiles for various makes/models of printers. It should come as no surprise that Epson doesn't provide profiles for their papers used on Canon printers. You can find some profiles for the s900 in an unlikely place.
At some point, you might consider creating your own profile (you can also pay someone to create it for you). |

dwoolridge, those profiles are great!! I was thinking there was something wronge with my s9000, but I was just using a generic profile. Oh, yes and gordon....thank you for the profile/color managment links from yesterday! They helped so much!
*smiles at prints with human skin tones*
