I cannot say I hate any country in the world, even those that threaten to nuke my home country (America). I see the same problems with everyone, that some people would apply only to certain countries. We are all humans and we all have our ups and downs.
I do not believe in evil, nor good. Only disagreeable and agreeable actions by some. If someone wants to kill me, it does not make them evil, and I do not hate them. Calling them evil is too easy a way out, once they are evil there is no point in trying to understand them or figure out the exact reasons behind why they wish to kill me. Maybe I insulted their family and did not notice, maybe it is their third week without a meal and they think this is the only way they can survive, maybe a fat man hurt them when they were younger and I'm the 74th fat man they have passed today and they have just snapped.
I am sure I would feel differently if they hurt someone close to me, sadness turns to anger which then turns to hate. It still doesn't make them evil though.
So if I feel that way personally about people I do not think I could think evil of a county of them. I think all countries have their soft sweet spots, families, huddled together for safety or comfort. I think all countries are confused and scared too, of their neighbors, of the future, because of those families.
If the earth were a rock, it would be falling from the sky, and we would all be ants upon its surface running around in a panic with no real idea of where we will end up.
Everyone wants what they believe to be best, everyones opinion of best differs, therefore everyone wants something a little different and in return every country. However all countries want to be safe and survive. So France did not help America, I am sure they had their reasons and those reasons were solid to them and maybe still are. I cannot honestly discredit those reasons without them doing the same about my country.

| I love the French! They created some of the greatest things on Earth. Like French toast and French fries. But seriously not all French people are arrogant or crass. Not all Europeans or Americans are either. It is usually a culture difference and the fault of people not to realize or take the time to understand we are not all raised with the same values or culture. One does not have to agree with the other but should understand If you want to hate a country Canada is a good choice. Look at all them chickens hiding behind a great nation like the US. They can't even decide on a national language. Just a bunch of Nazi's!!!!! Ok that was a Joke lets see how many people get it! |

Hello everyone ! Don`t you think that it is stupid to create a topic called : "Why do people hate France ?"
I am half french/japanese and sometimes I think that I am really happy cause I am not American even if I respect American people. Since some events of this century, the relationship between France and America get down more and more because this kind of discuss.
Also, I wanted to say that many tourists go to Paris and get disappointed. Why ? Because it's true to say that Parisian people is not kind it all, I mean with tourists or even between french themselves, it's the same but Parisians are not EVERY French people. Otherwise, we have any problems with English people, I think.
Young generation like me is very open minded anyway. |

I think it is silly to join a website and on the same day of joining, dig out a 2 year old thread and start moaning about it without any knowledge. Enjoy your stay.

While I tend to disagree with MAK most of the time, I agree that this was a bad place for you to start your DPC life. Did you even take a look at WHY the topic was started? Maybe it is a problem with YOU, but no one here has given the thread any attention since July. Who are you and why are you here? This is a photography-based forum, not just some place for jerks like you to stop by and make stupid, poorly written statements.
