I agree with this on a "moral" level, but fashion photography isn't about real people for the most part. Although, with advanced editing, you can make anybody flawless. ROFL

Well, I have a little experience in fashion and there are some really edgy great shots in this one. I guess I am looking at this challenge with the thought "Would a shot like this go in a fashion magazine or poster?"
My daughter models with Elite and even though she eats like a horse, she is tall and thin (she got that from her Daddy's side of the family!)and very REAL. She was picked on and called names all thru school, including anorexic freak. Designers, especially high fashion, want rail-thin, walking clothes hangers and my daughter is lucky enough to fit the role.

read this thread just like to say that most girls are savvy with the make upmy model was her first time in front of the camera, I kept it very simple and got a niceshot ( my entry). although it isnt doing that well it is a shot I like very much and ahows the garment and her up really well |
