The one big thing I get hurt on most in my photo's is composition. I did a bit of reading and tried this. Can I get a critique of the composition please.

I think you've done a really fine job compositionally with this shot. I really like the final result. You left just the right amount of room at the RH side, the barn doesn't crowd the edge. There are nice leading lines in the shot that keep the eye within the frame. Perhaps the only thing I'd change is either eliminating the fence line completely, or including all of the fenceposts. Well done.

I think you did an excellent job, I love the shot. I agree with kirbic about the fence..but it really isn't a big distraction.

As an experiment try reversing the left right of the image. To the western eye a photo that is read left to right is more peaceful and easy than right to left which is more discordant and conflicted. SInce this is a gentle scene it might feel better reversed.

I really like this picture. I agree that you should think about getting rid of the fence. Beautifully processed.

Compositionally this is a very good job. The fence stumps are distracxting, but you already know that. The birds and their placement are lovely grace notes. However, I'll go out ojn a limb and say it's a little tight on the right and a tad tight on the bottom. The barn feels a bit crowded to me. Not a lot, you're on the right track, but a little bit...

PP is terrific!

Very nice photo!!! I took the time to visit your "Barn" collection on your profile, and I much prefers your barns to mine.

Keep up the good work,

Ray
