I recently placed an order through lulu.com (after hearing that they had great quality products) for calendars for one of my brides. I had to make a few of the months into collages. I made them perfect to size for the calendar, and everything looked great.

When I got them today, I almost died! They are horrible! The pictures are very pixelated, the cropping is off, and they are very cheap looking! I know that the pixelation, and cropping are not from my end, as I have had large size prints made of these pictures!! When I checked everything in the proof pdf they give you, it looked nothing like the printed copies I received!

Now, I have to explain to my bride that it will take even longer to get these in, and I have no clue where to go from here. I emailed their "customer service (because they don't have a phone number for customer service!!) I told them that I was very unhappy with the quality of the calendars and I would like to have my money refunded so that I can get replacements for my bride!

I doubt I will get my money back on these - and then I will be furious! This will be the 2nd time I am burned from a crappy company! I will keep you updated on what happens.

Now, where do I get new calendars from?
Ugh!

Wow, thanks for the warning.
I VERY almost put an order for a photobook through to these guys recently but realised at the last minute that none but their tiniest book size are available in landscape!
I just placed the order with photobox today and will see how they do.
One thing I love about photobox is the speed of turnaround AND the prompt response from customer service.

Ya lulu sucks for photogs. it's alright to print "written" books but the image quality does suck bigtime. I was very pleased with My Publisher quality/price wise.

I've only ordered greeting cards and pictures from yahoo, but they do a good job. And they have a satisfaction guarantee. Their calenders are 18.99 for a 12 month calendar. I don't know if that's to expensive.
