Here are my edits. I took a bunch of images of fellow DPCers but since there's enough of them already, I figured I would share my candids that I took that day ;)

I have to admit, it was a lot of fun taking candids and posed shots when people "expect" you to take photos ;)

I hope you enjoy. Thanks.

The photos are great everyone! Sometime maybe I'll finally make it to a gathering too. I've seen you plan a couple since I've been on DPC. I have to admit I just didn't like the idea of maneuvering SF driving myself for the last one, lol. I know, I'm lame. I usually let my husband drive when we go there as he's familiar and knows how to get most places. I love SF though, especially Chinatown.

I'll keep an eye out for the next GTG and definitely try harder to go, it looked like a lot of fun!

Thanks guys! Funny story about some of the "posed" shots. I was on my way home at around 4:30pm when I saw the floats and the groups lining up on Market Street. Needless to say, I took out my camera and started shooting. Since there were too many people I couldn't really take good shots or even have a good view of the floats. Dumb luck that a few "news photographers" walked right in front of me with credentials around their necks. They all had Canon cameras with the white lenses. Then I realized that I kept my train ticket in a lanyard so I put it around my neck and decided to follow them pretending I was a part of their group. Swooosh! There I was behind the barricades snapping away. I guess I fooled some folks into thinking I was a "pro" :) So the fun really began. I approached people and asked them for some quick shots. "Sure!" was the resounding response ;) Some people even tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I wanted to take their photos. Like these "girls":

And these:

But of all the candids, this is the one in particular that I love the most:

Did I say I love my "white" lens ;)

Damn, Rikki, you're my hero! Thinking on your feet, hehe! That's a great anecdote. If I were there I would've been right beside you with my 'credentials', WEEE!

What a shame I don't live near SF. All the photos were great to look at.

I'm thinking of "creating" one in PS and just keeping it in my backpack ;)

Hey I know you're headed to SLC so the next time you're around SF, let me know and we'll try to gather the troops ;)

Hey SF GTG folks, I'm sorry that I missed out on all the fun. It looks like you all had a great time. I was in SF for the weekend, but was sicker than a dog, so I'm sure you're glad I didn't track you guys down. Anyway, I managed to take a few shots here and there. Here are a couple from my trek around SF sniffling, coughing, and sneezing.
