I have done many, many self portraits as most of you know around here....but I have never really sat down with someone else and actually shot portraits...
Last night I had the chance to take a few shots...let me know how you like them. I only have one edited so far...but the rest will be up soon.
I'll post the rest of them in a bit...

the portrait is very nicely done, congratulations. Of course you wouldn't put your photo in just to show it and do want to know what you can do better about it. The crop you chose there shows a lot of those nice eyes, very good. I would have chosen even a tighter crop to avoid the optical illussion of having an "egg-head". That happens when you crop just a bit at the top.....either leave the whole head in the photo or go a tad closer to get rid of it. The toning is very nice, enuff contrast, jst a lovely picture. Way to go and keep on shooting

Thanks.... I really am looking on ways to improve on my portraits, as I am not at all experienced with them.
I'm going to try a color photo on the next one I edit and maybe try a little different editing.
Oh...and keep in mind that these were taken with a ghetto 2.1 megapixel P&S, lol. I keep telling people...look what I can do with my ghetto camera, just wait until I get a better one.... Soon, soon....
