No professionals here (on the course or behind the camera), just a great day with really good friends, and a lovely golf course.

Group shot at the end of the round. :-)

Shameless bump.

So does anyone besides me like the group photo? :-)

actually the group photo is nice. it conveys an "18th hole goodbye" feeling that we all share after a good (or not so good) round.

Nope, the putt was a little off, but she was just doing that for me to take the shot. It didn't miss by much, though!

I do have some swing shots - I need to edit one set for the woman I took them of - she has the most beautiful swing! That group was three women, one man, by the way. We tolerate him because he's funny. :-)

Resurrecting this topic.....

Anyone got any advice about how to cover a corporate golf event. Need to get photos of all 72 players, but figure I'm never going to be able to follow all of them around!!

Also any other nice shots of golfers in action would be great to see.

Most of the corporate outings I've been to where they take pics, the photographer starts at a hole, any hole (since I'm sure it's probably a shotgun start) and works backwards until he/she hits each group. They have all four players gather on either the tee or the green, depending on where he/she catches them, for a group shot. I've only seen a few take shots other than the group shot but it would be a nice touch if you did.

At some of these events, the pictures are ready by the end of the round, courtesy of one of the sponsors who apparently pays for them to all be printed and stuck in photo folders.

Good luck! We have a low-budget fund-raising golf outing tomorrow afternoon. Temps predicted in the upper 90s so it'll be a bit warm. But it's an afternoon out of the office!

I'll give that a go!

Hadn't thought about printing on-site. Wonder if they'll be a good printer there. Got the sponsor already, and was going to send the prints out afterwards. Got me thinking....

Thanks for the advice!
