It's a fake flower that is backlit. I had the camera set to a longer shutter speed...like a 1/2 second or something and twisted the flower in front of the lense while the shutter was open.

I think gurlwithapen's is not an abstract as described by the challenge description. I think hyperfocals isn't either.
If it is recognizable as an object - it is not an abstract.

actually its a year-round fountain....water jumps around the fountain. this one was displaced and upside down
