Okay. Anyone want/need comments on their submissions for Recipe II or Backlighting II submissions? Must be a high 4 to a low 5.
I will comment on images after the rollover. Since I am on the CC, I must wait until the images have cleared the Critique queue lest I cause mischief for myself or others on the CC. ;)
Post your entries here. Others are welcome to comment as well. The more the merrier, eh? |

Pick me! Pick me!
OK, I already know it's not the most interesting shot, but I liked it. Almost got to a 5, too!
(Thanks!) |

eug, thank you so much for the detailed critique. You really gave me some things to think about, for future shots. Very helpful indeed.
I don't have NeatImage...is that like sharpening?
By telling me the different things that YOU look for in a photo, you have helped me to consider things I never even thought about. I am taking notes on the finer points. And I am not being sarcastic...this is really educational for me. Thanks!
You're good at this.

Awww... You just made me blush, dag-nabbit.
NeatImage removes camera sensor noise from an image, but one of the side effects if not done properly is that the image will be very soft and sometimes plastic looking. It's a good tool, but must be used carefully -- just like anything else.
It's my pleasure. I learn a lot by giving and ready comments as well. It's one of the reasons that I do it. :) |
