Robbed? The image got over six.
To be honest the image made me hungry. I will say I would have scored it better then I did had the composition been better. I think the sparkler should have been eclipsed better.

| For me, you have to hit near the bottom of the second page of results to start seeing my higher scores. Nothing on the first page scored higher than 7 with me. Four of them were 5's. Looks like I'm out of tune with general consensus, as ususal. Me = weird. |

No, it's the same with me. I didn't think many of the top winners fit the challenge at all. So we can be weird together. :)

I had a problem with one of the top three because IMO all they did was to turn up the saturation on an otherwise ordinary picture to get it to meet the challenge. The third place entry I scored high.
Do the math.

i agree .. this picture is under rated... i usually find a lot of gems in the top 20 .. and not necessarily in descending order..

Must have something to do with the gravitational pull out in the boonies that is Atlantic Canada. |
