I never considered that photography in aquarium could be fun. Can someone post some pictures taken in aquarium to inspire me? It seems dirty glass and crazy reflections will ruin most of the pictures. I could be wrong.

if you are worried about getting bored, then I wouldnt drive down from NY. It seems you arent that interested in shooting there anyways?

I wanted to go to Philly for some time now. I'm just not sure how I feel about an aquarium.

Along the Delaware River are some other sites you might be interested in.

Camden Waterfront The Battleship New Jersey is a fun tour.

The Ben Franklin Bridge between Philadelphia and Camden is a great 5k walk back and forth but this would be weather/wind dependent. Ben Franklin Bridge Walkway

On the Philadelphia side of the river are a
skating rink, a causeway, and the Independence Seaport Museum.

Closeby are the art galleries of Old City and the traditional tourist sites: Independence Hall, Libery Bell, Constitution Center.

Shoot - I was hoping I would be able to go, but with family in town, it doesn't look like I will have the time to get over there.
