Which do you like more,
the colour version, or the greyscale version?
I wonder if I had submitted the correct photo (though I do agree it might have fitted the pattern challenge better, lol) Thanks for any comments.

That's a perfect example of my personal theory on which images should be black and white :)

Personally, I like the color entry better. It makes the black and white stripes of the zebras stand out instead of almost blending in with everything else. Definitely color.

It's definitely MY personal opinion that won't get much agreement but...

If the color is not creating strong impact in the image, it should be removed. I believe that weak or poor color hurts photos more than it helps them.

I say B&W with a tiny bit more contrast to see more texture

I think the monochrome version is the better of the two. I wouldn't have scored the colour version quite as high.

The background starts competing more for attention in the colour version - distracts from the zebras and their shapes/patterns.
