This is probably a dumb question, I'm wondering what the .THM files are for that Canon cameras save with their RAW files? I'm thinking they are to do with the JPEG embedding. If I save the .CRW files only will I have any problems opening them without the .THM file? |

They are thumbnail files that the camera uses to display the image back to you on the LCD.

I have no idea, but I do have a guess. Could it possibly be a thumbnail preview file? That's what the extension seems to suggest...

OK that's cool. So if I'm not gonna be previewing them on the camera anymore (which I'm not) I might as well not bother keeping them? |

You can delete them if u don't want to view the files on the camera anymore.
