I think it's pretty cool anyway... do you know what it is?
12/29/2005 09:02:38 AM · #2
don't know... they have all gone to extreme lengths to win a challenge?
12/29/2005 09:04:28 AM · #3
They all used 50mm f/1.8 lenses...

You mean, besides the fact that they are all head shots, with eye contact, and a reasonable amount of acting involved and look like single lighting?

I got it!!! They all won a ribbon!

all three are very eery - they do what the challenge asked and that was to make the viewer feel the fear

Rule of Thirds!

? They all have eye contact?

I think only one of the three has eye contact. The others are looking off frame.

They all rock?

True, but one was Nikon, the other two Canon :o)

WHy....they're all "digital photographs" and face shots...more to the fact, "faces covered with various gunk & junk"

That's what I noticed. I don't think it's a big deal that one is Nikon... it's a great little lens regardless of brand I would think. I just thought it was neat. :)

Maybe if there were four ribbons, and I had entered with a similar shot, and I had used my 50mm f/1.7..

would 0.1 be too much of a difference for yah? ;)

that's because we Icelanders are Vikings, and we are afraid of nothing.. that's why we didn't win this challenge..

for the past 1000 years we have just slain those who show fear, so it's not a part of our genes anymore...

but there are a few inbreeds that suffer from all kinds of mental deceses, including phobias :)
but we can't kill them.. we were forced to make a constitution and uphold the laws in it, but still there are only a few years since an old law about that you were allowed to kill Turks (people from Turkey), (due to an invasion in Iceland a few hundred years ago)

hahahaha... don't take this to seriously.. it's partially tru though :)
