Can't complain about this challenge, lots of helpful critics :) My only question is should I have submitted this
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=27499
instead of this
//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=26940
I couldn't decide so my wife did!
Thanks
Mark

Must have been a tough decision considering the images are identical :)

You need to change one of the links.

I like the books much better. The faded rosebud just didn't do anything for me and I only gave it a 4. I would have given the books a 6. But then that is just me.

Thanks, I really like the colors on books

Hey Mark. I definetely like the books better. The focus and color on them are much more dynamic than the faded rosebud (which i know is intentional of course :) but I think that would have gotten a higher score. If you could, check out my forum post "Color version of my B photo." I had the same problem as you and am also looking for feedback. Choosing the best picture to submit is always difficult and it's nice to check with other people after the challenges are over to see if you made a good decision.

When I was about ten, our Basenji Mira accompanied us to the door for her first Hallowe'en. She got one look at the trick-or-treaters, went "woof" and ran and hid under the bed.

Mark, i also prefer the Books image. I made a dumb mistake. Had submitted Low Tide (see Recent Portfolio Additions on my profile page), liked it. At the eleventh hour decided that it wouldn't go over well with the voters, then i pick the worst of the bunch and submitted that. It didn't go over well with the voters and myself. Oops :)

This is much, much better than the one you submitted. The Bad Basenji looks so proud.

Journey, I prefer Baywatch, it is much better than the duotone in low tide. It might IMO be a little over saturated, or are those bright greens the natural color?
