My knife, fork, spoon is tanking. My Too Late isn't doing too bad, but I expected more. At least its a 5.6 or so, so better than my personal goal of 5.5.
I am SO ready to have my candlelight and the speed challenge photo to go up. I am doing the rollover dance. Are you?
PS: I'm watching the final of the Survivor show tonight. I wonder if that is totally symbolic. :)

Thank God for TIVO. I missed the first hour. Didn't know it was on! I was out all day shooting! But, I will go back and watch the first part later.
By the way, for whoever is in Iceland, Miss Iceland won the Miss World Pageant tonight, for what it is worth to you. LOL...CONGRATS! I missed most of that too and taped the last 40 minutes or so. Anyway, I am glad Survivor is on tonight. Usually nothing is on to keep my attention on Sunday's.
Now, only 2.5 more hours my time and I can start voting and seeing how nothing will beat my candlelight photo! *tee hee*

| I'm definately ready for the rollover!! I have nothing in the new challenges. Have been busy with photo work and regular work. I just couldn't squeeze time in for candlelight even though I wanted too. I'll be lucky to get into anything because my next 2 weeks are booked solid with portrait shots. Did I mention I have a full time job too? No tv tonight either, I'm editing the 145 shots I took at a company Christmas party last night! eesh |

OH, I CRAVE the new topics. I stay up to watch them, and then go to bed thinking of ideas. The next day I exhaust myself to make those dreams a reality. Maybe someday one of those dreams will have a ribbon near it. If not, well, when I get my Rebel, you will ALL have to watch out! I'm a MANIAC for compeition!!!

In a way I envy you for having a job you obviously love, but does it get a bit tiring doing portrait after portrait shots? I know I had portraits done last year, and the woman I chose I couldn't stand. She had no personality. LOL...She was like look up, look to the right, move your arm in, up, out, ARGHHHh. No smiles, no nothing from her. AND not ONE shot came out nice either. That is just me though. I am sure I just made a bad choice, but I had to wonder if she just lost her passion or it was just a job to her.
It seems though that at least you get to go out and do other things to keep in interesting like some Christmas Parties! Which must be fun!!!

I do alot of kid portraits which are really fun. The little girls I tell them "you are the model, have fun" and they eat that stuff up!! The adults I try to have as much fun with. I try to let them pick the pose and most do very well at it.
The Christmas party gig last night was a blast! They were a wild group of people and I managed to get them all at their best (and maybe worse lol), lots of laughter, lots of fun .. all of us paid folks were just cracking up laughing at them!! I love the fun stuff, won't do weddings (except for family), much to serious for me! I have enough stress on my real job, I don't want to have that with my photography. |

What is Survivor ?? Is that how everyone here has been surviving the ruthless voters :P
I can't wait to see my candles light up the challenge .. hopefully this time the last minute won't last forever and we will soon be rolling!!

WOW, sounds like a blast! I'm glad you have fun at it. It's always best to be happy with what you do, and it sounds like you are definately happy!

Survivor is a TV reality show. Are you not from the states? It's says you are from NY on your profile. You must have heard of the show? Jeff Prost and all the people that go off on some God forsaken island trying to Survive for a million bucks? (I wouldn't do it..LOL)

Ok .. oops wrong button LOL We are in the same time zone Rose .. 1 hour to go here too. I just found out I have to get up at 6 am tomorrow ( 1 1/2 hours earlier than normal because of a snow storm *sigh*) .. should be an interesting morning at work! Now if I could get rid of the stressful daytime job and take this on instead I'd be doing awesome!!! :)
I think I'm going to have a hard time picking out WHICH candle!! LOL I'll definately vote! Still wish I could have entered, I love candle light and have MANY candles around the house I could have worked with. Oh well... maybe next time!!

Dear Lord, I hope it isn't going to be another all nighter for this rollover. It says it should be no longer than 10 minutes when it closes up for the rollover. The other night? WHEW! THAT was a long 10 minutes. BUT, I will lay down and keep the sight up, and if I am still awake when it turns over, then I will be happier. LOL....
