During my military active duty in the city of Kimberley I broke the record for running nude around one of those big traffic cicles... I did 76 laps before the cops arrested me and later released me without charging me. Booze, youth and hormones don't gel....
What the hell, it was fun...

Being nekkid with a woman and doing certain things in a public park during normal opening hours (barely hidden).
Riding 280 km/h on a public road where 100 is allowed (motorcycle).
Overtaking at 160km inbetween cars on a dual lane road (motorcycle).
Roadracing on public roads with powerslides, drifts and everything with complete strangers (motorcycle). Must say that we only did it when no one was around that we could hurt. Never met them before, nerer seen them again.
Trying to do abseiling in one big jump from a 40m cliff.
Shooting black berries trough the open window from a police car driving by (hey, I was six! Barely escaped.).
Going downhill on a mountainbike, letting the speed get totally out of hand and beyond "I can brake in time for that tree"
Several BMX jumps that I shouldn't have done (stitches on head).
Crazy or stupid?

Took my Fathers brand new (had it for a week) car out on Thanksgiving for a joy ride when I was 16 and wrecked it! IT was totalled! I went through a building. I was fine, only one scratch above my eye. The car was about half of the size it was orginially and every tire was flat.
Also when I was 16, a friend and I stole her mothers car and snuck out of the house to go to a party. The car broke down and we walked all the way back to her house and asked her mother the next morning..."where is your car?" Like we knew nothing!
I got caught with a Surfer on top of my mothers Jeep joy riding through town by a cop. I told him I had no idea that the guy was up there and I was so glad he told me because my father would be so upset and got away with it.
Some friends of mine broke into a store and stole A LOT of BEER and had one incredible party!!! (well, it was one of my friends brothers store, so we had the keys)
Laid out in the sun naked infront of a major hwy. (before I had three children)
Whew, this is just the tip of the iceburg.....man, I used to be a lot of fun. I was a WILD teenager, but now I am just boring.

One of my friendsâ grandmother had a house that sat on about 35 acres of land. We were about 15 years old at the time and we all decided to go to the âbig creekâ as we called it. All it was is a creek that flowed down some rocks and created a nice swimming hole.
There were three of us boys and three girls, one of which was my girlfriend (or at that age we thought). When we got to the creek we all joked and played as teens that age do and then the girls suggested skinny-dipping. Well I donât know of many boys that would turn down an offer like that so we didnât, but at the same time we were mischievous.
The girls took their close off and jumped in the creek and the three of us boys (after taking a good look at the girls, very nice!) looked at each other and without thinking grabbed the girls clothes and made a run back to the house, about a half mile or so through the woods.
We didnât think any adults were home so we ran in and sit in the great room knowing the girls would showing up soon in there birthday suit. What we didnât notice was that my friendâs uncle was sitting at the kitchen table that faces the porch eating. About 10 minute later the girls come running across the porch naked and came running in the house. Oh we were laughing and they were mad to say the least.
A few seconds latter a deep loud voice from the kitchen called all three of us boyâs names saying, âget - in â here - nowâ! Shocked that someone was there would be an understatement as we walked to the kitchen. He said, âDid I just see what I think I saw, three naked girls running across the porch and into the house?â We just stood there â you could hear each of us take a deep swallow. We knew we were in trouble, oh and by the way his uncle was a preacher.

Hmm....
That would have to be a toss up between the following:
- Crawling up a sewage pipe of an old sewage treatment plant.
- 30ft out on an 80ft yardarm of a 295ft sailing vessel

-hitchhiked up the east coast of new zealans south island, it took me 6 -rides and i met allllll kinds of people.
-ran a marathon
-skydived
-biggest bungee jump in the world.
-i was snowboardin with some x games snowboarders a few years ago and decided i could misty flip this 40 ft jumps they were hitting (i had done it on smaller jumps ok), which I did fine, it;s just landing that got me.
You gotta fall pretty hard and pretty weird to crack a snowboard. Oh that day hurt.
-similar to above, I was surfing a break near Cloudbreak in Fiji (read big fast waves) and im not that good of a surfer. I got a good scare and met the coral reef in a not so nice fashion. ... sometimes I should think a little more.
-Back when I used to skateboard a lot I did some handrails and sets of stairs ... I think 9 or 10 was the biggest set I ollied i dunno.
k thats enough |

I dated a Baptist preacher's daughter and on more than one occasion had to make a quick, exit from her room (via 2nd story window) while partially dressed, evade the family dog (a mean SOB) and make it to the street while getting dressed.
Evaded capture on skateboard. Back in the day, I could skate a lot faster than most policemen can run.
Trying to drop in to a pool on my skateboard from the roof of the house. (I don't remember much after I went over the edge, just a brief sensation of flight.) No broken bones, but I remember the Doctor telling me, "Son, you should probably be dead."
More recently, a friend and I built a gasoline/oxygen fueled rocket motor in his garage. Let's just say that experience exceeded expectations in so many un-anticipated ways. Through some miracle, I still have my eyebrows.

Carried drugs for a friend. Not so bad until a cop stopped us at a red light. I almost fainted because I was the only one holding. damn, was I young and dumb. Looking down a barrel of a gun is not good. Lucked out and didn't get busted, the cop was a guy and I wasn't so he couldn't search my pockets. They were bulging with the stash. Never did anything like that again. :) ****warning to the younguns, DO NOT DO THIS****
Then when I was older I jumped out of planes. That was fun and well planned so it wasn't as crazy as before. |

Rose Parade, 1990... My buddies and I camped out on the street and partied the whole night. My best friend fell asleep/passed out right before the parade arrived so we picked him up in his lawn chair and put him in the middle of Colorado Blvd. right in front of the parade as it was coming down. We woke him up, got a GREAT photo, and everybody along the parade cheered. No scanner, otherwise I'd post it. |

My husband and I love water sports and on occassions did it inconspicuously even with others not far away. On one occasion I didn't realise I had dropped my bathing suit bottom and we searched frantically but never found it. I stayed in the water forever waiting on others to leave but it finally got to where we had no chose but to leave. My husband had to get me a towel to wrap up in which wouldn't have looked so funny but I had to wrap myself under water and then get out with a towel dripping wet.
I was also crazy growing up (didn't grow up till mid 30's) and did many things that were not just crazy but totally stupid involving drugs and drinking. I am so lucky to have lived through and to not have killed someone with many of the things I did. |
