Does anyone UK (preferably London) based still spend time in a traditional black and white darkroom? Have some paper to donate; past it's best date but probably still good enough to use. Large sizes.

And don't forget, if you've not thought of a gift yet for the environmentally friendly family member or friend, how about an acre of rain forest to support conservation efforts?

See the link under my name in the first post of the thread.

I treated myself to a Canon EOS 5 Film camera, bought it off ebay for £100, its in mint condition. Wow! what a beast it is. Off course I had to buy a new camera bag to go with it!

You've done a good thing here. Many folks got a bit of cheer due to your thoughtfullness. May you and yours have the happiest of Holidays this Christmas season.

Merry Christmas to all.

Thanks Flash! And thanks to everyone who has sent me similar PMs and other thoughts in this thread. I really hoped it would go 1/4 this well - we're up to almost FIFTY wishes filled, some easy, some more difficult and some almost impossible! Ok, nobody got a free dslr, but ... maybe that's my next project!

More portfolio space. Always maxing it out, then have to dump pics with favs or comments to add anything else.
Hate doing that.

Brad I questioned whether this could be done and was told not for now but they have many request for this and it might be something new for 2006. So you don't have to lose your photos/comments until they increase it, I would be more than happy to set up a section in my gallery that you could link to directly from your portfolio. You could transfer your comments to it also but would have to put their username with it. It would have my url but you can make your own header with your name and such to be used. If this would help you at all just give me a yell and I will be more than happy to set it up for you.

Here's a link to my gallery if your interested

I had offered this to Brad and to Annah personally but I am willing to offer it to a couple more people if anyone is needing some extra space for now. Just let me know if anyone is interested.

I wish for:

1. 2006 to be at least as good as 2005. Would be nice to keep the good ball rolling into the new year this time!

2. Kindness from others - FILLED - FELLOW DPC'ers (AS EXIBITED IN THIS THREAD!)Thank you! You are all so wonderful to know!

3. Start a fund by donations to get my sister's family (she has 4 kids) a new computer. Any size contributions would be welcome. Would I do that through paypal or something? They currently have an old compaq WIN98 system that keeps crashing. Oldest kid 18, youngest 2 yrs.

:)

I didn't wish for anything this year but my husband surprised me with a new laptop last night. Woohoo! I had one that died about 6 months ago and have sure missed having one. Guess I was a better girl than I thought I was. Or at least he thought I was. :)
