I love "I'll Be Home for Christmas, " "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and "White Christmas," but I have a special place for "Oh Holy Night," which I got to sing a capella at the Christmas Eve service years ago. I'll never forget that.

If you like piano, George Winston's "December" is terrific. That's one I will play once in a while throughout the year.

25th year of 'O Holy Night'on Cristmas Eve this year for me, not a cappella...though I'm not sure this year...the family church is sort of waning in membership...might be not be an organist this year...Hmmmm. I have to do something from the Messiah ('For behold, darkness shall cover the earth' & 'The people that walked in darkness') at the in town church at 06:00PM then the family church 'O Holy Night' at 11:00PM...then I go to Mom's and crash...

Chris Martin singing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

I think I posted it last Christmas too, but it's still one of the only things that's been able to make me feel Christmassy in the last few years.

One of my favourites is the Trans Siberian Orchestra. I'm in a band and we are playing Christmas Eve in Sarajevo at Christmas. I also really like Manheim Steamroller and this Ultra-Lounge Christmas CD I have.

Oh...and "what are you doing new year's eve" by Donny Osmond

When I was a kid, we'd listen and sing along to "Sing Along With Mitch" by Mitch Miller and Orchestra. What a memory.

I love to sing the traditional religious Christmas songs. I have a soft spot for Donny Osmond's "Mary Did You Know?"

There's also a site that publishes choir music and has demo versions of their songs. They have one called, "Guard Him, Joseph" which takes the viewpoint of Joseph's role. It's beautiful.

BradP, thanks for the tip on the Enya's "Silent Night." It's downloading now.
