Have you thought about Spain? Some great places there and lots to take pictures of. Madrid is nice but down south you have the Costa del Sol, Malaga or Torremolinas all great vacation spots. Ohh I'll second and third all the recommendations for Spain. To add to these cities, If you can hop over to Mallorca, their old city is beuatiful. I also enjoyed Malaga... Also, even though it won't be warm, I enjoyed the Sierra Nevada mountains as well. (I think that's what their called)
Also, even though it probably won't be warm, the Pyranees offer gorgeous stuff, especially where all the old Cathar castles are. Barcelona will offer great photo-ops with all the architecture there, as well. Especially if you like Gaudi
