Ok, couldn't think of a better title.

So, finally found the time to fiddle around with the infamous grunge affect. So, here you go. Feel free to comment, slice and dice, critique, or whatever strikes your fancy.

Been a while since I uploaded anything, so have at it!!

Thank you in advance.

What exactly is the grunge effect and how is it achieved, in software?

From Digital Color Mentorship

Tutorial Joey did for a mentorship thread headed by nico_blue

I used a plug-in 'action' for photoshop. The grunge effect is, well, I'll let someone else explain it. I'm sure they will do a better job.

It's basically mucking around with a pic to make it darker, dirtier, and changes the character of the picture... Not a good explanation. Sorry

Everyone is great. Thanks for the straight up answers (they are VERY helpful, seriously), comments, and compliments (they are nice, I admit)

If you feel inclined, keep 'em coming, good and bad!

I know, shameless self promotion.

I'm just happy I finally had the time to do some fun stuff as opposed to thinking about my next exam! Now, back to studying!

Here's an image I edited using that Draganizer 'action', and Joey Lawrence's post about it (to some extent):

Thoughts?

OK, I'll play. This one used 'gothic' 'glow', then flourescent chalk, then draganizer, LOL. Poor Rosie Jack!
