Inspired by a couple of quotes I read this morning in This Thread, I'd say a "Star Trek" theme might be interesting...

i think it might need to be a little broader than trekkie
Sci fi would be an awesome theme though. |

I'd totally go for a Star Trek theme...or even just sci-fi, 'cause I could still shoot Star Trek then.
Not that I'm a trekkie or anything......

Love both StarWars and Star Trek...trek is more about evolution and technology, where as StarWars leaned more towards religion and faith.
Both similair in some ways. |

Seven years ago there was a Star Trek theme in a hotel in Las Vegas - I think it was the Hilton. We stayed there and stole the star trek key card from oour room as a souvenir! Someone from the area, tell me if it is still there (very doubtful) cos I would love an excuse to return and a challenge could just persuade us to do so!!!!!

I really want to push this topic a little. I really want a challenge focused on showing all the realities today which was once considered Science Fiction. Eventually becoming science fact. I know we can say everything was once considered unexplainable such as fire for example, but if you name the topic star trek, then you can focus on all the gadgets that are and will become in near future. |
