I was chatting with the guy who runs a coffee shop at the train station before catching my train to work. We were talking about gold exploration and the company I work for and its stock price. (No, I don't give insider info, ever!)

We were talking about some particular decisions that had to be made.
me, "Those decisions aren't up to me."
him, "Oh, I thought they were."
me, "No, I'm just an indian."
him, "What? What do you mean."
me, realizing he's actaully an east Indian, "Um, like indians and chiefs."

What an idiot I am. I don't take the train very often, but he'll remember that, as we've chatted for years and he remembers everyting.
