We'll try this again. It was fun last time.
I'll comment on the next 10 people who want the grimy details as to why their picture scored so average.
This time I'll preface here that I don't look at the other comments before I leave mine. (Now I don't have to write that on each comment)... |

Thanks for the help, I'd love to know why this crashed and burned, considering it is composed, is trash, and technically, at least from the comments i got, is satisfactory.

You have to many 6-scores to qualify for my scholarships mesmeraj. :) I like your pic, but you needed to color the edges of your thought bubble better and darker.
I left comments for everybody. For those reading along here is a few themes I see which give you a high chance of a 4.8-5.2 (so take notes if you are going for that score).
1) Low contrast. This is more from the last 10 I did, but there were lots of pics which looked better simply by adding +10 to +20 contrast. (One I added +70 contrast and it looked a LOT better). So before you enter, up the contrast with whatever program you use to at least see what it looks like. Don't go overboard, but at least look.
2) Drab color. If you look at your picture and see large patches of the same drab color, think B&W. That large patch can then be dominated by a texture or pattern rather than a blechy shade of brown. If you don't like B&W, then boost the saturation. We are very spoiled looking at so many pictures on video where we can see supersaturation. |

I was pretty happy with this and thought it was fairly original. Was it too different or obscure? I thought the title explained pretty well why it was appropriate for the challenge. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for looking and commenting. This was just my second entry and working with basic editing really makes this more challenging.
