I must say that I am MORE than pleasantly surprised at the reaction to my Dead End entry. I was hoping for a 5.2 at best. I mean, come on...it's a dead mouse, and it's grainy as hell. Thanks for looking past the 'ew' and finding the beauty. :)
Special thanks to scalvert for your comment, which sums up what I was trying to accomplish perfectly!!!

heh,
I gave that a seven and then said ew when I fully realized what it was, but I decided that I liked it afterall. And, well, the challenge did have the word DEAD in it didn't it?
I think this was much less disturbing than what Librodo did, and she was alive... |

Laurie, I had that marked up as a 7 too. Just very different from just about everything else in there. You did a good job of 'seeing' the image.
Well deserved score.

Absolutely! First and second were dead bugs and a dead witch, so why not a dead mouse? It looks like you had many other comments mirroring my opinions, too. I just spent more time typing them. ;-P

| I really liked the look of the photo. You can't totally tell by looking at it that it's a dead mouse -- he looks like he could possibly be just cozying up in his nest. It has a great look to it, and was very well done. Congratulations on a top 20 finish. How often do we have the privilege of expecting a score lower than what we end up getting! That's awesome. |
