I am a college kid lookin for good excuses to get out and see the world! My friend introduced me to this program called, Camp Adventure. I went to the introduction meeting today and ...WOWZA it sounds amazing! You choose one of their many locations and run a summer camp for kids on a naval base mon-fri and weekends are free for you to explore! Travel, housing, and food is all payed for! A great opportunity to work with kids, recieve college credits, and... DUH... take pictures! So, where to go this summer? Choices range from almost every US state (including Hawaii :-) ), all around Europe, Asia, and South America. So almost anywhere in the world! Where would you suggest to go for great photo ops and WhHY?

Iceland, because it seems like a lot of winners come from there.

Seriously, though, I'd really go to Ireland, because I'm of Irish ancestry. Also because it has a unique culture, people are friendly, and there are just some stunning views with an even more astonishing history.

What types of photographs do you like to take? That might be a better starting point....

Greenland. Alaska. Patagonia.
I like the artics, the air is so clear. And I love dramatic landscapes.
