You know when you have a picture in a challenge, and it's getting ho-hum comments and ho-hum scores, and you really liked it, but it's apparent that your "vision" was lost in translation somewhere between upload and the update button...and then someone you really respect posts a comment on your shot and you can tell that they understand? They get it? It's not just you that saw what you were trying to say??? If you know what I'm talking about, it ROCKS! If you don't, be patient...it does happen! :)

Don't mind me...I'm sleep-deprived from being up since 3am with an asthmatic kiddo...but that one comment really did perk things up for me! :)

I've had that happen to me a few times already and you're right, it's a great feeling. Glad to hear that your photos are being recognized Laurie.

I know exactly what you mean! It is good when someone understands! I hope you're kid is alright too! I had my eldest in intensive care at the hospital last week from an asthma attack! Not a nice thing!

Eek...I hope all is well with your kiddo now! Mine is fine, just coughing a lot and he really doesn't enjoy all those breathing treatments. I hate feeling so helpless and not being able to do much to make him comfortable until the medicines kick in. :(

I knew you guys would know what I meant about feeling vindicated! :)

Jerome Bettis (RB for the Pittsburgh Steelers, going to be a hall of famer) has asthma. I think he may have some sort of research foundation thing going on, or maybe some type of program where he talks or teaches about it. I know that he's always on commercials talking about asthma and saying how it didn't get him down and all that...but anyway, I think that it might be worth checking into -- you know so your kid doesn't feel bad mentally anyway.
