Didn't see this thread, so I thought I would start one. I didn't enter this challenge, even though my husband insisted that I should. I've been getting pretty "gun shy" here lately. Anyway, can you guys at least tell me WHAT? you think? :)

And post some of your outtakes ... the ones you "should" have entered! LOL

Gun shy? You have some wonderful photos in your portfolio and your challenge entries are swell as well, you should be coming out with both barrels. mho.

Commented on photo.

This is the unedited version of the picture I took, it looked a little too much like wicker for my liking.

And then a few others that I liked...

PS... resized with a resize tool in windows hence the poor quality.

Wow, rwaudio. Those are all really cool. I would have voted any of those high. What did you use to make the light.

alfresco, thanks for the comment. I "think" I'll do well in a challenge, but then I don't have enough of what the voters are looking for, I guess. :) I keep on trying, tho!

it's a mini maglite, with black tape over the front and a tiny hole cut in the tape, hanging from the ceiling, in a completely dark room, averaged 1-2 minute exposures, but the secret was borrowing my daughters play doh and giving the flashlight the proper weight at the end to swing smoothly and for a long time.

I'm going to have to try something like that. I can see it now:

Husband: "Tara, why are you in the basement in the dark?"
Me: "Um, just trying something. I'll be done in a minute."
Husband: Sighs and shakes his head.

:)

You get used to those conversations after a while. ;)

This is what I had originally submitted (before I found the butterfly on my doorstep and created my "scented crayolas" entry):

"Keine Lust"

EDIT: BTW, I'm happy with the outcome of my actual entry! :-)
