My new Olympus E-500 just came in!

Since I joined DPC I have upgraded to CS2 from Elements 2, and upgraded from my Nikon 4800 to an Olympus E-500!

Don't know if I can take any more upgrades.....well not till next year...

Thanks for all the insperation and shared knowledge.

Ordered mine from Dell today. Now I̢۪ll have two kit lenses.
Unfortunately they list estimated ship date as Nov 9th.

Also I sold & shipped my Nikon D70 on eBay today and realized I left my Sandisk extreme II CF in it, so I guess a new card is in order also.

Sorry to change the subject slightly, but I'm curious hyperfocal, what made you switch from the Nikon to Olympus?

I've been debating between the two myself.

Also, BMacD, how do you like the E-500?

In the last couple months I bought:

A 20D, Battery Grip, Extreme III 1 gig card, camera bag and other assorted accessories, A Canon 70-200 2.8L IS USM and a Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di.

I still need a flash and am debating on my next lens (long lens, macro, or wide angle.)

I'll be ordering my 20D and a couple lenses in about a week! So you're definitely not alone. I seriously can't wait. :)
