Puma, I'm not sure I understand your message exactly, but the present Challenge is Light on White, not white on white. |

I'm a newbie here but thought I'd share an idea I had but felt it would bomb so went with another. |

The last challenge was white on light also but many people including myself had white objects (As the light color) and a white background. These photos did not do as well. Instead the objects that were light in color but not white scored better.

I noticed that too. It wasn't LIGHT - but WHITE on white. Hmmmm - I hope mine doesn't bomb, cause it's the first, not the 2nd. HEE HEE

My entry in the last light on white:

There was a lot of discussion about "light" vs. "white" in the last challenge, but this is my highest score and it is "white" on white.

I am not entering the light on white contest but this is an example of a photograph from last summer.

I not sure if this is light enough. Feedback is always appreciated. |

Not so sure about that. Look at the results for the first 'Light on White' challenge. I see plenty of white on white at the top, including the Blue ribbon. Guess it depends on your definition of white. ;^)

'Light' on White, 'White' on White ... ??? I guess if you can see the subject on a white background you're probably doing ok.

I'm going to take a pretty picture and see what happens. He-he. Have fun y'all!!! ;^)

Hey Mes :D I think the challenge includes high key photos as well which these images falls under :) |

Doesn't high-key tend to use over-exposed backgrounds? That would go against part of the challenge (to not over-expose). Yes/No?
