An admin note on an image viewable to everyone shows that the photo has been proved to be legal within the site rules.
If you have a note on your image that says you need to send the original camera file to show that your photo is legal, then pease do! It probably means that someone has questioned its legality, and once you send the original in, you will have a "The photo as been proved legal" note that everyone can see, so everyone knows that you have already proven it to the admins.
I hope that makes sence.
Originally posted by mitzie9: Dear Manic, I don't know how you know that there is only one admin note. I'm new and don't know how to find all of these things. But, this I do know...when I click on my brother's picture, I don't see the admin note either. But, when HE clicked on it, he saw admin note - which asked him to reply with the original photo. Coincidentally, after speaking to my brother, when I viewed my own submission, I also had an admin. note request.
This tells me that only the photographer can see this note. And, it seems to make perfect sense...as it is questioning HIS picture.
I can understand my photo being questioned because of the technique...but, I'm really puzzled as to why my brother's was challenged!
We are here to learn and have fun in this competion...neither my brother's photo or mine is close to being the winner. I am only wondering why this happened. Thanks for your info. |
