The 16th little Dugger was born today in Arkansas... and I thought my three were enough to make the Pope cuss. ;)

I saw a documentary about these folks last year...when #15 was born. I gotta give them credit for having very well-behaved kids and the smoothest-running household I've seen.

Discuss amongst yourselves...are women's bodies really made for this level of baby-making? Would you do it if you could? Are they insane or are they lucky?

One thing's for sure...when their new, 7000 sf house is finished, I bet they will certainly appreciate the space! :)

Holy Mother!!! Cake all around!

I have 2 and some days that's 2 more than sanity prefers!

Good thing. I don't think Super Nanny or Nanny 911 would be able to help if they weren't :P

My cousin has 11 children. He and his wife have a lot of fun with the kids, but it is a very organized group! They really do well with them and wanted every single one! By the way, no multiple births.

I think it depends on the couple.....16 would be too many for me I think (hell, I know!) but given the right circumstances I would have had more than the 2 I have. I was married the first time.....marriage didn't work....the 2nd time I was not married (about died of embarrassment! even in this day and age)but we had been together for 4 years....he walked out on me shortly after I became pregnant... (he kept saying he was too old, he was 41 and I was 27)

Personally I would not any more kids as a single parent...but married and had someone that was wanting the same things....I think I could of had 4 or 5 kids.

Are women's bodies made for it.....wwweeellllll....I don't know about having them one right after the other....I think that would be very hard on the body (hormones, not enough sleep, etc).....I know how my body (the lower region!) was after babies.....and even only 2 kids later with my youngest being 10...I still need to cross my legs if I laugh too hard or sneeze! Could you imagine 16???? Probably have to wear a catheter at all times! Definitely a van with a porta potty!
